Choosing the right Stroller
Choosing the best Baby Stroller
Choosing the right type of stroller goes beyond the mere aesthetic appeal. A number of things should be considered before getting one.
Lifestyle – There are different types of baby strollers that are out there. In choosing the best stroller for one’s child, a consideration of one’s lifestyle is a must; so that parents can determine whether to get strollers for short travels, or the heavy duty ones that are best for all types of terrain. One example of a more sturdy, but still lightweight stroller is the Bugaboo stroller frog.
Number of children – If a couple plans to have several kids, then consider buying a sturdier baby stroller. If the ages of the children are closer with each other, a multiple-child stroller is advisable.
Safety Features – Since baby strollers would be carrying the most precious gem, the safety feature of the stroller should be highly scrutinized. Having the 5-harness seatbelt is a good. One should also make sure that the buckles are easy to lock and vice-versa, breaks should be present, and there is a wide wheel base for stability.
Comfort – No parent wants a uncomfortable baby, as it would also bring discomfort to him/her. So the seat belt should have straps, and it should fit seamlessly around the infant or the child’s waist. Also, check the seats for enough padding.
As for the parents, consider the handle height of the stroller, or choose the ones that have adjustable handle height. The ease with which a parent can manipulate the stroller, like folding or setting it up, should also be considered.
For baby strollers, parents should think about comfort, safety, durability, and cost. It is okay to throw in a few extra bucks for one’s baby, so long as it is reasonable and worth the price.
